The ibis—our namesake—is a bird rich in symbolism. In ancient Egypt, the ibis was associated with Thoth, the god of wisdom, writing, and invention. That lineage inspires us. We see this moment in history as a new wave of human invention—where language, creativity, and intelligence converge in tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and many more. Just as the quill or printing press reshaped civilization, today's AI tools offer small businesses the chance to rethink how they grow and operate.
Meet Amy
Ibis Advisory was founded with a local spirit and a global perspective. My name is Amy, and I spent over three decades in software engineering and project management, including leading mission-critical software teams at NASA. I've worked alongside innovators and engineers building some of the most complex systems on (and off) the planet.
As a senior analyst at Opus Research, I write about how generative AI, specially large language models (LLMs), are revolutionizing contact centers and all aspects of the customer experience. In my spare time, I'm focusing closer to home: helping Stuart-area entrepreneurs and business owners tap into AI's potential. I understand the pressure to keep up with technology while staying grounded in what matters—your customers, your craft, your community. That's why my workshops and guidance are practical and hands-on.
My goal isn't to just talk about AI, but rather to help you use it, thoughtfully and effectively. Whether you're looking to boost creativity, save time on administrative tasks, or improve customer service, I'm here to help you make this new technology work for you.
